High school students rely on input and advice from teachers, guidance
counselors and parents to help make decisions about their career
choices. The Makin’ It In Michigan program is designed to provide
useful information about one specific career area — manufacturing — that
includes a wide range of jobs, like scientists, engineers, marketing professionals, accountants,
lawyers and much, much more.
The program includes classroom presentations, facility tours, this great Web site, and an e-newsletter
for educators. For more information or to set up a tour or presentation, contact Kellie Garrett, MMA
Media and Member Relations Coordinator, at garrett@mma-net.org or 800-253-9039 ext. 542 or
517-487-8542.
Makin’ It In Michigan is sponsored by the Michigan Manufacturers Association.
